Old Rip Van Winkle’s 10 Year Bourbon – 750 ml bottle – MadeInUSA

Description

This older whiskey’s soft. mellow flavor complements the barrel proof thanks to additional age. As you taste this delicious bourbon. you can’t help but notice how much wheat was used in the formulation. On the palate. it is powerful and smooth with notes of butterscotch and stewed cherries. A long. semi-sweet aftertaste follows a hint of sweet smokiness. A strong perfume of butterscotch dominates the nose. followed by notes of grapefruit zest. cigar box. ripe dark plum. and a somewhat flirtatious. muscat-like scent that is evocative of good grappa. Smooth malt with mild vanilla undertones at first. giving way to drier. oaky aromas that fade into furniture polish and gentle malt toward the finish.
